UENO respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our tools and services. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

No Tracking

We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or third-party scripts that monitor your behaviour. We do not collect browsing data, IP addresses for profiling, or any information beyond what is necessary to provide our services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly when you:

Create an account (email address, name from social login provider)
Purchase credits via Stripe (payment details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store card numbers)
Use our tools (usage logs for billing transparency)

Third-Party Services

We use the following services:

Supabase: Authentication and database — stores your account, credit balance, and usage data. Hosted securely with encryption at rest.
Stripe: Payment processing — handles credit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay transactions. We store only your Stripe customer ID, not payment details.
Vercel: Hosting — serves the application. No user data is stored on Vercel.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any other third parties.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. These are HTTP-only, secure, and set on the .ueno.com.au domain to enable sign-in across UENO tools. We do not use analytics, marketing, or preference cookies.

Data Security

HTTPS enforced on all connections
Encryption at rest via Supabase
Row Level Security — you can only access your own data
Authentication cookies are HTTP-only and secure
API keys are never exposed to the browser
Rate limiting on authentication endpoints

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Deletion is permanent and immediate. All data is removed from our systems, including your profile, credit balance, transaction history, and usage logs across all UENO tools. There is no grace period and no recovery.

Stripe retains minimal transaction records as required by financial regulations. This is outside our control.

Your Rights

Under Australian Privacy Principles and GDPR, you have the right to:

Access your personal information
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your data
Export your data in a machine-readable format
Lodge a complaint with the Australian Privacy Commissioner or your local data protection authority

International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own via Supabase and Stripe infrastructure. Both services maintain appropriate safeguards including standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email and by updating the date above.
